About Mitts Fit

At Mitts Fit, we believe we’re all a little bit misfit- created to stand out, not blend in. Fitness isn’t about fitting a mold or becoming someone else; it’s about becoming who God designed you to be through discipline, strength, and daily transformation.

We anchor our mindset in Romans 12:2:
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Here, we train hard, pursue real health, and embrace being different. Whether you’re an athlete or a woman working toward strength and confidence, this is a place where you can show up exactly as you are, grow in community, and become stronger inside and out.

Ally Mitts

Hi, I’m Ally! I’ve been passionate about fitness and sports my whole life, from playing multiple sports in middle and high school-volleyball being my favorite- to competing in intramural leagues at Grand Canyon University, where I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Justice Studies. I discovered my love for lifting in high school, but it really became my passion in college when I needed a way to stay active without structured sports. I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer and have been coaching since 2025, specializing in youth athletes and women.

I take a hands-on approach in training, prioritizing proper form, pushing you to achieve more than you thought possible, and making every session fun and light-hearted. I believe in a holistic approach to fitness; working out is important, but true health comes from lifestyle choices at home and in the kitchen. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling accomplished, surprised at what they can do, and also laughing along the way.

Outside of training, I have the privilege of coaching volleyball for Post Falls High School and Riptide club volleyball. I love snowboarding, hiking with my husband and our dog Maverick, and attending Real Life Ministries where my husband works for the Sports and Outdoors program. Having been an athlete my entire life has taught me not just athleticism, but valuable life lessons about hard work, discipline, and the joy of movement.

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
